2008 State Quarters Silver Proof Set

The United States Mint issued the 2008 State Quarters Silver Proof Set as a special set which contained only the five quarters issued for the year struck in 90% silver. The quarters featuring Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii were presented.

The separate State Quarters Silver Proof Set has been issued for a number of years for collectors who only want the 90% silver proof state quarters each year, or would like to have them before the full annual silver proof set is released.
